Skifahren am Asitz An ideal way of joining the Skicircus – straight from the hotel and back again, of course, using the Leogang ski route. Thanks to the north-east facing slope and excellent snowmaking facilities you are guaranteed maximum ski and snowboard fun until the very end of the season. The 60 ingeniously laid out ski lifts and over 200 kilometres of pistes make this Austria's largest interconnected ski area.

The modern 8-seater gondola whisks you off directly to the winter arena around the Asitz peak. And once you arrive at the top you will be spoilt for choice – either head off straight away to ski down the numerous slopes or would you rather simply take in the breathtaking view of the mountains wherever you look?

The sunny terraces of the ski huts on the Asitz mountain are ideal for both entertainment and relaxation - but don't forget your sun protection for a healthy tan that will make you the envy of your friends.

Langlaufen It doesn't always have to be downhill…

An extensive network of trails covering around 150 km with extremely well groomed double and skating tracks spanning all degrees of difficulty await you. More ambitious and athletic XC skiers and skaters will also find World Championship tracks at Ritzensee and countless trails that are connected to neighbouring resorts (e.g. Hochfilzen, famous for its many biathlon events).

SNOWSHOEING

The countless side valleys in the region are ideal for winter walks. New winter walks have been created in Leogang to make use of these natural geographical highlights. This is the perfect way to take in the true winter experience, walking through deep snow in areas that are far removed from road traffic. And how about snowshoes for a change?

This fun park has features with varying degrees of difficulty, making it suitable for use by both beginners and experts alike. The park offers all snowboarders and new school skiers ideal training opportunities. Fun and action are guaranteed with features such as Jump-Boarder X, Straight Rail 6 m and 3x Cliff Jump 2, 3, 4 m to name just a few.
